USA Wins The Walker Cup

For the American team, the weekend began with Bryson DeChambeau showing up and giving the boys a pump-up speech.

They ended the first day with a one point lead, then split the Sunday morning session of foursomes evenly with GB & I.

The weekend ended with a knockout punch in singles, where the Americans unleashed an 8.5–1.5 barrage, turning an otherwise tight weekend into a runaway showcase of talent for the boys in red, white, and blue.

The good guys have won the last five Walker Cups in a row and are 40-8 all time.

The last time GB & I won a Walker Cup away from home was in 2001.

Hopefully, this is a sign of things to come for the American Ryder Cup team in a couple weeks at Bethpage.
