Good Morning. LIV is cooked.
Their CEO confirmed they have funding through the end of 2026, and after that they’d need to find it elsewhere. Hard to see anyone stepping up for that.
They’ve burned through $5 billion in a few years, made a handful of golfers richer, and didn’t do much for the average golf fan besides dilute what was already the best product in the sport. (Even if it wasn’t perfect)
Of course, after saying they had funding through 2026, they deleted the video and reposted it with that part cut out.
What a mess.

RBC Heritage: Fitz Takes One Shot Lead
Matt Fitzpatrick (-14) is off to a great start this year.
He lost narrowly at The Players Championship, then bounced back the next week at Innisbrook and won.
Now, he takes a one-shot lead into the weekend at the RBC Heritage - a place where he’s won before.
That’s a nice turnaround for a guy who was totally lost not too long ago. Prior to getting things into gear last summer, he went a full calendar year with just one Top 10 finish.
Now, after a year of grinding, and qualifying for the Ryder Cup, he looks a lot more like the version of himself that won a U.S. Open at Brookline.
Of course, a little good luck never hurts either…
Who’s Chasing?
You know who else might be back? Viktor Hovland.
He shot -13 through two rounds and sits just one shot behind Fitz. They are paired together today and go off at 2pm ET.
Behind them, there are a total of 11 players in the -10 to -8 range.
