Super Quick Update: Solheim Cup
The Americans got off to a great start Friday, sweeping Team Europe in the opening foursome matches.
Team Europe battled back in the afternoon, winning two of the four-ball matches and ending the day down 5-3 to the Americans.
Team Europe needed some big time shots to get there though - including a hole-out from the fairway AND a hole-in-one.
Damn, what a smooth swing that was. USA still won the day though, and the ladies are out there competing as you read this. Flick on Golf Channel for live coverage.

The young man rushes over and eyes the line and says, “oh you’ll need to hit this one, it’s more uphill than it looks”. The Father takes his turn, stares intently and says, “ I see it moving hard right early, then pretty straight up the hill”.
The Grandfather walks over, takes a quick peek, and says “it’s a gimme”.
