The 1000th Winner On Tour
Plus: Paige Spiranac Talks Golf Nerves, Stingers, and More.

Good Afternoon. Thanks to everyone who filled out our reader survey so far. If you haven’t had a chance yet, you can still jump in right here. It helps us make the newsletter better, and we genuinely read every single response.
In the meantime, here are some fun insights about the Caddyshanks community:
The majority of readers are between 35–54 years old, with a solid chunk of 24–35 year-olds coming up strong.
Nearly 80% of you play golf at least a few times a month, and over 50% watch most pro events.
The two most popular things you’re looking to buy this year? Golf trips and new apparel.
Instagram is the most common place you consume golf content, followed by YouTube and X (Twitter).
48% of you identify as intermediate golfers, and 34% consider yourselves advanced. Love the confidence.
Your favorite brands are TaylorMade, Callaway, Titleist, Ping, and Nike — with TaylorMade leading the pack.
Nike, Bad Birdie, and Vice were especially popular with younger readers, while Peter Millar and FootJoy skewed a little older.
A few of you name-dropped boutique brands like Travis Mathew, PXG, Linksoul, and G/Fore — noted for future giveaways.
Proper Long Pitch Technique
Parker McLachlin (aka @shortgamechef) talks through how to apply his stock pitch technique to longer shots when faced with those 35-50 yard up-and-downs.

Quick Recaps: Wyndham Championship & Ladies Open Championship

Wyndham Championship: Young Becomes 1000th Winner
Cameron Young finally got his first TOUR win at the Wyndham Championship this weekend and it was never really close. He won by 6 shots on the back of a red-hot putting performance. Mac Meissner finished in solo second place. In terms of bubble boys, only Chris Kirk moved into the top 70 with his tie for fifth, and Byeong Hun An (missed cut) was the only one to fall out.
Does this win earn Cam Young some Ryder Cup consideration?
Well, that probably depends how he performs in the playoffs, but it is worth noting that in 2017 he tied the then-course record (64) at Bethpage Black as a 20 year old amateur.
Stat Of The Weekend: Cam Young gained how many strokes putting?
Ladies Open: First Time Winner
Japanese rookie Miyu Yamashita won the AIG Women’s Open by two shots over Charley Hull and Minami Katsu at Royal Porthcawl Golf Club. It was her first career win.
Charley Hull and Nelly Korda are the two biggest stars in women’s golf, but neither has won a tournament this year. Yesterday marked Hull’s fourth runner-up finish in a major. After failing to finish in the top 25, Nelly Korda’s 17-month reign as world No. 1 has come to an end.
Jeeno Thitikul is now officially the LPGA World No. 1.
