Quick Recap: Bank of Utah Championship

On Saturday, I wrote that Max Homa had WD’d, but I was wrong.

I will chalk this one up to writing the Saturday newsletter with a 3 year old crawling all over me, while seeing videos of Max grabbing his ankle in pain on social media.

My apologies!

Anyway, the star of the show this week wasn’t Max Homa, who ultimately finished 9th, but it was Michael Brennan, who went wire to wire and notched his first TOUR victory in the process.

Brennan won three times on the PGA TOUR Americas, which earned him a promotion to the Korn Ferry Tour.

This week, he was in the field on a sponsors invite, and ended up winning by 4 strokes over Rico Hoey, who was unable to shrink the margin below 3 strokes at any point in the final round.

Michael Brennan now gets to cash a check for a cool million dollars and he’s exempt on the PGA TOUR through 2027.

Thing We’d Buy: The Connector

It turns out, it was The Connector, made by Sure Golf.

According to their site, the training aid “effortlessly trains the correct arm structure to work in unison with your body. This unified action is the cornerstone of all effective golf swings, laying the groundwork for a controlled, consistent and powerful action.”

We say: if it’s good enough for Rory, it might be good enough for you.

That’s A Wrap…

Before you go: just a few questions for ya.
