Quick Recap: AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am

For the 27th time in his career, Rory McIlroy is back in the winner’s circle. That puts him third among active golfers in career PGA Tour wins, trailing only Tiger Woods (82) and Phil Mickelson (45).

It’s a strong start to the season after a turbulent 2024, but for a player of McIlroy’s caliber, success is ultimately measured by major championships. Will this be the year he ends his major drought?

Sunday’s final round saw six different players hold at least a share of the lead, but birdies on the 10th and 12th, along with an eagle on the 14th, put McIlroy ahead for good.

Shane Lowry, who was in contention early, dropped back after hitting his second shot over a cliff on the par-5 sixth. He rebounded with a 31 on the back nine, finishing solo second with a final-round 68.

Lucas Glover (67) and Justin Rose (68) finished one shot behind Lowry. Sepp Straka, who began the day with a one-shot lead, shot 72 and tied for seventh.
