You may remember Collin Morikawas entrance onto the PGA Tour scene. He won events as a rookie, then at the 2020 PGA Championship, he tied the record for lowest final round score by a PGA Champion, and brought home his first major.
Then, in 2021, he won his second major championship, The Open Championship at Royal St. George. He ended 2021 by winning the DP World Tour Championship.
Ever since, he’s been on an almost two year winless drought, which he finally broke this weekend at the Zozo Championship.
He shot a bogey-free final round while Justin Suh, Beau Hossler, and Eric Cole, all paired together in the final group, faltered.
He ended up winning by six strokes.
DeChambeau's Crushers GC win 2023 LIV Golf Team Championship
Four teams entered Sunday’s final round of the 2023 LIV Golf Team Championship with a shot at the title, and come the back nine at Trump National Doral’s Blue Monster it was a two-horse race.
Down the stretch, Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC came out on top at 11 under to claim the title and the $14 million top prize, two shots ahead of runner-up RangeGoats GC. Torque GC finished third at 6 under, with last year’s defending champion 4Aces GC in fourth at even par.
